The College
The London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism at the University of West London is an award-winning institution with over seven decades of teaching excellence in the service industries. Recognised as the top university in London for Hospitality, Leisure, and Tourism in the Guardian University Guide 2025, the college offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that lead to professionally accredited qualifications.

The Role

The Person
To excel as the Deputy Dean at the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism, you will need:
- Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing academic teams, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate staff and students alike.
- Academic Excellence: A robust background in developing and managing academic programmes, particularly in the fields of aviation, culinary, tourism, nutrition and hospitality, with a track record of innovation and success.
- Industry Engagement: Strong connections with industry partners and a history of successful collaborations that enhance academic offerings and student opportunities.
- Strategic Vision: The ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that advance the college's mission and goals, ensuring our programmes remain at the forefront of the industry.
- Commitment to Student Success: A passion for improving student engagement, satisfaction, and outcomes, with a focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Research and Development: Experience in leading research initiatives and integrating cutting-edge practices into the curriculum, particularly in areas such as AI and sustainability.
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, staff, industry partners, and the wider academic community.
